How safe is the Air-X Lung tank?

Although Air-X is designed for shallow water exploration there are inherent risks with ALL water activities. However, abiding by the Safety Guidelines can help to minimize those risks and ensure a safer experience. 

For user safety it is strictly forbidden to use any Lung product beyond a depth of 3m. 

The Air-X complies with PPE (EU)2016/425 tested to standard EN 250:2014 Respiratory equipment. This is the European standard for diving equipment to meet the demands placed on it at depth and under high breathing loads. This involved testing the device at a breathing rate of 62.5 l min-1, submerged in water at a pressure of 6 BAR absolute (equivalent to a depth of 50M). However, the use of any Lung product beyond a depth of 3m is prohibited.

What kind of air is in the cylinder?

The cylinder contains compressed air, which is the same air as the ambient air that everyone breathes. It is also the same air that is contained in conventional diving cylinders.

How long does it take to refill?

With the Air-X Hand Pump:

- Around 15-20 minutes of pumping.

You must refill the cylinder in 5 minute sessions and let the pump cool down for at least 2 minutes between intervals.

The Air X T-300 cylinder allows you to explore the depths for up to 10 minuteswithout surfacing. Thanks to its refined design and minimal weight the Air X T-300 can effortlessly be used with minimal set up, making it the perfect apparatus for all your aquatic adventures.

      What comes with the Mini Refillable Tank? Do I need any other special attachments?

      We have 3 packs.

      If you choose the Tank Only pack you will receive the tank with the anti lost rope and some filters & carbon balls. Warning: This pack doesn't include any of our accessories to refill the diving tank. To refill your tank you will need either our refill adapter, our hand pump or our compressor.

      Our second pack is the Tank + Hand pump. It includes the same as above but with a hand pump too. You don't need any other tools to use your diving tank.

      Our last Pro Kit contains the Tank, the anti lost rope, the filters, the hand pump and our most loved scuba mask for an unmatched diving experience.

      Does the diving tank comes with a regulator?

      Yes, it does (mouth regulator). There is no "yoke" to deal with but the shutoff valve is included.We recommend a "sock" or any other accessory to cover the regulator when traveling. Be careful it is easy for the regulator to get dirty or have sand in the way if you don't take care of it.

      Does the tank comes with full air inside upon the delivery?

      No due to safety reasons our tanks are shipped empty. You will need either our refill adapter, our hand pump or our compressor in order to fill it.Our hand pump allows you to fill your tank on the go wherever you are.The compressor is the most efficient way to refill your tank as it's easy and effortless.

      Are these Mini Refillable Scuba Tanks allowed on planes?

      Yes, you can bring your refillable tank anywhere! Make sure to be able to show that the first stage regulator is unscrewed from the tank. Airlines are concerned with pressurized tanks.

      How deep can you go with this diving tank?

      This tank is firstly made for safety reasons as a rescue tank in case of emergency. However, this tank can be a great initiation to start free diving & scuba diving. Our Air X Tank is easy to use and beginner friendly to ensure a lovely experience underwater for anyone. This tank is perfect for snorkeling anywhere up to 10 minutes. It is strictly forbidden any use further than3M/10ft for non experienced scuba divers. This device can also serve for many other uses. For example it can be the perfect friend for every boat owner that needs to do some boat cleaning underwater, unleash boots from the propeller or check the anchor.
